Cafe 't Mandje Review

It is a more famous coffee shop in the local area. No matter what time it is, there are many people. The area is not particularly large, but the coffee is very fragrant. It is also very good to have a cup of coffee at the table outside.

Sometimes there is no seat at all, there are two floors, the upper floor will become a restaurant after 5:30 pm

Café ’t Mandje – Bet van Beeren (since 19270) is only a small bar and our voice may be tiny, we still believe it tob e important for us to let the world know our views and position on matters conserning LGHBT matters. The history of café ’t Mandje and Bet van Beeren demand our statement. Come and have a drink and you will find out that “Boring” does not apply to Café ’t Mandje at the Zeedijk 63 in Amsterdam.. And.... Cafe ' tMandje is the only cafe that is recreated in the Amsterdam Museum and is permanently exhibited.

The oldest gay bar in Europe! The history of this place is absolutely fasinating. It was opened by a woman in the 20's who skirted the laws at the time to keep the place going. It was closed down for sometime but has been reopened by the original owners family. It's been reonvated but all the original decor remains. Cozy and historic!
