Toulouse has to mention this southern canal, 240 kilometers long, has been listed as a World Heritage Site. It was originally built in the 17th century to connect Toulouse and the Mediterranean Sea, so as to facilitate commercial trade to the Pacific. Later, the bridge, the port, and the boulevard trails on both sides were repaired. It is now a place for walking, cycling and cruise sightseeing. It is really suitable for walking and relaxing.
