Carcer Tullianum Review

This is the Roman prison where the Apostle Paul likely spent his last days, though not the Apostle Peter. For a Christian, it's definitely very moving.

This prison has a high degree of historical burden, especially for Christians because it was where they say that their last days were passed by the apostles Paul and Peter.

Located under the Church of St. Joseph of the Falenham, rising from the 16th century, the Marmertino Prison (originally called Tullianum) is located, which, according to the Christian legend, was the place where Saint Peter and Paul were imprisoned. It is also reported that they caused a source in their cells and used water to baptize prison guards, and that the prison was in a old tank and accessed the city's wastewater network (the Maxima Cloaca). The lower cell was used for the executions, and the bodies of those who were killed were then thrown directly into the fogs, and the prisoners were not given meals and often died of hunger. There is no explanation for the prison's fallout, but there is evidence that the site was used for Christian rites from the middle age.
