Cardiff Bay is not very far from Cardiff City. It's a 10 - 15 minute walk from the south side of the railway station (there are trains, of course). The whole harbour includes historic buildings, including the red house of the harbour building, as well as the city centre facing the harbour with glass curtain walls and a modern complex. The whole bay has bicycle lanes and piles of food and beverages facing the sea, which is very lifelike. Occasionally visible sailing boats add vitality

Cardiff Bay is very easy to go. It is very closed to Cardiff Central Station. You can take the bus or walk 30 mins from central station. It is free to visit, of course, and the scenary there is fantastic. You can spend a few hours there, no doubt. Take lots of pictures there. There are a lot of shops and restaurant and coffee shop there. So once you are tired, you can grab a coffee there, by sitting next to the seashore, enjoying the coffee and the sea at the same time. Different kinds of pubs and restaurant there, from high class to family restaurant. There are also a few historical buildings there, and there is a modern exhibition center there. The design of its outlook is so high tech, you definitely will fall in love with it.

Cardiff bay is a lovely alternative to the busier night out in Cardiff city centre. Lots of bars and restaurants to choose from a nice atmosphere near the water front. My wife and I have enjoyed a few date nights without the kids down the bay. They also do a lot of food festivals and different activities to watch out for during the day.

The sun was really comfortable that day~ strolling in the bay with the gentle sea breeze, chatting leisurely, and completely fell in love with Cardiff Bay. Cardiff Bay (CARDIFF BAY). Since the mid-18th century, Cardiff Bay has gradually become the world's largest raw coal export port at that time. After World War II, the coal transport industry largely stopped in the 1960s, as international demand declined and container terminals rose. By the early 1980s, Cardiff Bay had become a deserted dock and a wasteland of vast mudflats. In the face of this situation, the British government established Cardiff Bay Development Company in April 1987, which has gradually become a more famous tourist attraction, slowly driving the local economy.
