Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art Review

The Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art provides a free exhibition space for artists worldwide, including well-known artists and artists not yet known to the public. The Cartier Foundation is not only a space for artists to exhibit and create, but also a space for dialogue with the public by organizing various exhibition-related lectures, concerts, performances, etc.

I really like it. These designs are beautiful and extremely complex. Some are almost impossible to imagine; what really surprises me and impresses me is that most designs are built, and I find video clips of several construction projects very attractive. Junya Ishii is a skilled architect and a very smart artist and thinker. As far as the actual building is concerned, it's quite good; it has air conditioning, glass, a small garden and a cafe. I hope to visit another exhibition one day.

This is also a place sponsored by Cartier to display contemporary works of art. Because people are watching quietly in the exhibition, I am not ashamed to take photos, the collection is also very good, and some are also very precious.

In 1994, the Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art moved to Paris and has since been situated in a spacious and bright building designed by renowned architect Jean Nouvel. In its unique display environment, it seems that exhibitions, conferences and works of art have gained some new vitality.

Avoid Wednesday’s at Fundacion Cartier. Wednesdays means reduced price entry day. Sounds great, yes. But it’s only reduced tarif for under 18s (and for senior citizens students, unemployed, journalists and kids under 13 years old, they’ve free entry at all time). Only joking. It’s worth going when you get the chance! There’s a beautiful interior exhibition space which allows for the most enormous pieces of artwork to be displayed. And always contemporary, yet the choice of works seldom evoke that feeling of puzzlement. The outdoor space through is the target for coming here – it’s like a mini forest and a welcome extension to the interior gallery space. Why not have your own picnic there?
