Most people do not really notice this beautiful Modernista building because it is located right next to Antoni Gaudí's Casa Batlló, however it is a stunning architectural masterpiece in its own right. It was designed by Puig i Cadafalch and features the work of sculptors such as Eusebi Arnau. Combining both neo-Gothic and Modernista elements, it was inspired by the Dutch houses with their triangular shaped facades. Unlike some of Gaudí's houses, this building is free to enter and visitors can look around its stunning lobby, view the art exhibits on the first floor and visit the newly opened chocolate shop.
