La Casa Bruno Cuadros was once an umbrella shop located on La Rambla. It was marked by an ornate dragon with an umbrella, mounted on the front of the building. The dragon still remains today and is a famously known icon in Barcelona.

This famous dragon with parachutes located in the Ramblas of Barcelona is one of the most photographed icons of the city. The sculpture is located in the house of the trader Bruno Cuadros and Vidal who lived in that house in the mid-19th century. The store was of sales of parachutes, shadows, shoes and vests. So thanks to the prosperity of this business, Mr. Quadros and Vidal could buy the three plants of the house. The reason for decorating this eastern style sculpture is because many of the things they sold in the shop were Japanese products.
