Casa Comalat is another of the icons of the modernist architecture of the city. Located on the Diagonal Avenue, a few steps from the Paseo de Gracia is not usually warned, although it is worth paying attention. It is a job requested by the famous local architect Salvador Valeri i Pupurull. It is characterized by having two faces of completely different styles, one with semi-circular forms and stone decorations, and the other face with a spectacular polychrome ceramic work that was made by another craftsman and recognized Local artist like Lluís Bru i Salelles.The building is private and functions as a residence of its owners and although it cannot be entered, its majesty can be appreciated by street foot.
