萨莱诺大教堂，位于那不勒斯阿玛菲，建于1000多年前，历史相当悠久了，教堂内埋葬有诺曼圣人圣马修的遗体，整个教堂庄严肃穆，入口处大门顶有圣马修的石雕。

比较合适的路线是：趁有体力的时候先去爬教堂的圆顶，然后再下来参观教堂。教堂圆顶（the dome ）是由米开朗基罗设计的，直到1564年他去世以后很久才完成。

萨莱诺大教堂是意大利南部城市萨勒诺市中心的主教堂，11世纪由诺曼人修建，为纪念圣马修（San Matteo）而建，据说圣人的遗体依然埋在拱形地窖中的主圣坛下面。右手边的半圆壁龛内，十字军礼拜堂存放了当年十字军的武器。教堂旁建有钟楼，钟楼下是阿拉伯风格的长廊。
