Two old bridges on the Singapore River adjoin. One is the Gavenner Bridge, the only suspension bridge in Singapore, and the other is the Anderson Bridge. There were three copper cats at the end of the Gavena Bridge, once a granary by the Singapore River, and the rats were rampant, so the three copper cats were cast and the rat infestation disappeared.
