Singapore Cenotaph Review

The 20-metre-high Memorial to the Squadron is located near the Marina Arts Centre and faces the Old Parliament Building, which was built to commemorate the 124 Singaporeans who died in World War I. The memorial for the victims of World War II was engraved on the back of it, a phrase in four languages (English, Malay, Chinese, Tamil): "Their sacrifice has made our survival."

After we left the mangrove forest, we returned to the original place where we got off and took 925 to the Cranzie War Monument (not direct, about 800 meters away, look at the electronic map). This is a cemetery, which contains a small number of victims of World War I, most of them World War II, when about 24,000 people died, including British, Indian, Australian and New Zealand nationalities. This is a very peaceful and quiet garden, which is managed by special people and planted flowers.

The monument is a place to commemorate the resistance of the enemy heroes during the Second World War. In fact, it is a place that is relatively easy to ignore. It seems that there are no tourists. It just happened to be seen. It is not very recommended to come to a place.

The monument stands in the Binhai Bay Binhai Park. It looks very solemn. It was built to commemorate the people who died in the First World War and the Second World War. It is a typical human attraction and worth visiting.
