Central South University Review

Central South University was formed by the merger of Hunan Medical University, Changsha Railway College and Central South University of Technology in April 2000. The former name of the former Central South University of Technology was founded in 1952 in the Central South Institute of Mineral and Metallurgical Engineering, and the former name of the former Changsha Railway College was founded in 1953 in the Central South Institute of Civil and Architecture. The former Hunan Medical University was founded in 1914 as Xiangya Medical Specialized School, one of the earliest Western Medical Colleges founded in China.
