In front of Tian'anmen Gate, the Qipu River flows under the Jinshui Bridge, or the Tongzi River in the Forbidden City flows southward through the Taimiao outlet. Such a familiar place, but never thought of the river's origin and development. Looking at the willow in spring from the perspective of tourists, I feel different. Gladiolus River Park is a small and exquisite Chinese garden, especially close to Tian'anmen. If you are tired at Tiananmen Gate, you can have a rest here. It won't disappoint you. No tickets in the park, quiet environment in the bustle, my old father often came here to cool down when he was alive. On the north side of the park complex, along the Nanhe River and Nanchizi Hutong, you can also take the old Beijing Hutong. Although not as before, the general pattern is still there, which is much better than not.
