Changu Narayan Review

The Changgunalayan Temple, one of Nepal's world cultural heritage sites, has now completely collapsed. When we went, there were not many people. After visiting, we all sat down and stunned at the same time. Perhaps it's feeling the silence of the old temple.

Changgunalayan Temple, located in the north of Badgang Square, is an important part of Badgang Architecture. The sculptures in the temple are exquisite and are listed as World Cultural Heritage Site. After the earthquake, Badgang was badly damaged, and most of the monuments are being restored.

Changgunarayan Temple, sitting 30 minutes from Badkan, is one of the most important Hindu temples in the Kathmandu Valley. It was first built in the 4th century, destroyed by fire in 1702, and rebuilt after that. Because it is far away from Kathmandu, it is scarce for tourists, but it is also one of my favorite temples in Nepal.

Passing through the noisy Kathmandu metropolitan area, I went to Bad Hill and visited the Changgunalayan Temple, a world cultural heritage site. The temple was built on a rock on a hill at an altitude of 1541 meters. It was first built in 323 years during the Lichavi Dynasty.
