Chao Phraya River Review

My wife and I were in Bangkok for the vibrant Songkran festival in April 2024. Wanting a memorable experience, we took a friend's advice and decided on a Chao Phraya River dinner cruise. After some research, we settled on "Royal Princess Cruises" booked through Trip.com. Choosing the right Chao Phraya cruise operator can be overwhelming with so many options. We selected Trip.com because it offered floor selection, easy booking, and competitive pricing. Plus, picking up our tickets was a breeze!

Easy to change tickets, very cost-effective! I chose the flight segment of 7.45 at night. The exterior view of the room is on the third floor. It will not be very hot at night. It will pass through many famous attractions all the way. The night view is very beautiful! Don't expect too much for the buffet, salmon is OK. Magnolia seems to be the only cruise ship with a demon show. Although it is only a few simple performances and interactions, it is also worth the fare. The whole voyage is about 2 hours. It is recommended to blow the evening wind on the boat and see the night view one night! The pier I chose is iconsiam, a large comprehensive mall, you can reserve 2 hours to stroll there before boarding.

The luxury cruise dinner was a truly memorable experience. Opting for upper deck seating provided a refreshing ambiance.

this is one of my favourite places when I visited Bangkok from 13/2-18/2/24. This is my first ever visit to Bangkok, Thailand.. i took a ride of the tourist boat , ‘blue flag’ double decker boat during evening around 5 pm till 7 pm. besides enjoyed the breeze and relaxing ambient , sightseeing the building beside the river , especially the shining ‘Wat Arun ‘, grand palace of Thailand and also the dazzle Icom Siam, beside those scrapers sky high hotel.

The night view is good. Although the 2-hour buffet is available, the tableware will be collected before 9 o'clock. The food is not given. The meal is average, drinks and drinks need to be paid separately.

The Chao Phraya is the major river in Thailand, with its low alluvial plain forming the center of the country. I love this river when I pass by.

Chao Phraya River was a great experience.I always like to be near water or on boats!So a city where boats are used as normal public transport was something not to be missed.The river is huge and all sorts of local boats pass by. This is one of the main reasons why I like Bangkok so much!The wind in my face and enjoying the amazing views of the shore, including some great temples.
