Just next to the train station, you can walk down the slope to the old town. The church is also an iconic building, and the towering bell tower can be seen from a long distance. Opposite the mountain, the lake Lugano below forms a beautiful picture with the church. Entering the interior of the church is quite beautiful. It is recommended.

You can see this church on the way from Lugano Railway Station to the city. The spire of the church is very obvious. From the platform in front of the church, you can see the entire Lugano Lake. The scenery is very beautiful. It's a pity that the church closed early and couldn't go in to see the internal structure.

San Lorenzo Cathedral is located in the middle of the hillside in the city center. Today it happened to be the last day of renovation and it will open tomorrow. This renovation took 12 years and cost 600 million euros. The enthusiastic citizens told me that the inside was very beautiful after the renovation. Unfortunately, I have to leave tomorrow morning and I have no chance to go in.

The ancient church overlooks Lake Lugano, but the interior is being repaired. You can't see the frescoes on the lake as the background, only reveal the altar!
