Chinatown in Bangkok is very lively at night with shops selling foods, drinks, Chinese medicines, lanterns and home decoration items. The main color tone there is red as Chinese consider it a lucky and rich color. We took a taxi from Hualamphong Train Station to this area which is not far away. Traffic was quite heavy around 9pm. We walked the streets to feel the vibe, bought some snacks and had a Chinese dinner in one of the restaurants. Prices are a bit high like in any big cities. All in all that was a nice short visit.

About two kilometers long, Thailand Chinatown has a strong tidal style, popular Chaozhou dialect. So far, Bangkok Chinatown has been born for more than 200 years, is today's prosperous business district. Every traditional Chinese festival, Chinatown is very lively.
