The area where Union Station is located was originally Chinatown. When preparing to build Union Station in the 1930s, Chinatown was forced to migrate a few blocks north, and many of the memorials of Chinese culture that had precipitated more than a hundred years disappeared, which is regrettable, and the porcelain bowls and disks of traditional Chinese crafts can still be dug in this area. When the demolition was completed, the building was left behind, becoming the only remaining knot to sustain the Chinese mood. On December 22, 2003, the Huamei Museum opened here.
