great view! free enterance, quite small but very beautiful, especially with the backtound of the Ho tay lake. if you are around there is no reason to not go and visit! sunset time will be even greater

Built on the 6th Century, in what at the time was known as Yen Hòa village, this small Pagoda is very valued by devoted Buddhist. I found the brick construction quite original and pretty.

I totally fell in love with this little gem of a place. The Tran Qhoc Pagoda is a really cool tiered pagoda located in a quiet, leafy area of Hanoi, and doesn't have the tourist of other temples and pagodas. Cross a small track across the West Lake to reach it and you'll pretty much have the place to yourself! It's in great condition and makes a lovely photo.Take time to explore the whole area (allow around 30-40 minutes as it's quite small), as part of a larger day trip around the city.

This is a lovely pagoda to visit when you're in Hanoi. Located on the north side of town and situated between two lakes, it seems to be a pagoda more frequented by locals than by tourists. There's a large pagoda, place some potted plants dotted around a garden, and two rooms of worship which feature large statues. There's a huge beautiful old tree in the back garden. It's free to enter.

I am not sure why this is not a more popular attraction in Hanoi. The Tran Quoc Pagoda is located in the northern part of Hanoi and is sandwiched between two beautiful lakes. The pagoda is off of Thanh Nien which separates West Lake and Bach Lake, making for a very attractive area to hangout for tourists and locals.
