Want to see French architecture from the dark ages through the renaissance without buying train tickets and driving all over France? Here's the solution! The museum (permanently) shows the evolution of French architecture up until the time period of the revolution - the museum is made of mostly replicas of the originals which remain in their original forms - but the replicas are incredibly accurate! Such as a line of angels with their heads missing since the revolutionaries in 1789 cut them off. In addition there is a gallery dedicated to contemporary architecture which is so cool!! July 2014 they had an interactive exhibit of a efficient apartment. Don't forget the third or fourth floors which show some of the oldest paintings replicated from the walls of the cathedrals - with modern art interspersed for fun!

Traces the history of roman and gothic architecture as relates to the architecture found in France. If you aren't into architecture you won't find this very interesting. But it's incredibly well curated.

Really great collection, especially from the Gothic style (once known as the French style, because the French were considered masters of this style). Worth a look if you enjoy medieval architecture.

This is a small architecture museum featuring models and artifacts from famous works including Notre Dame and Sainte Chapelle. It's free every first Sunday of the month.
