Cockleshell Bay Review

St Kitts, with its magical black sand beach, was a port on our cruise and finally on Cocklesher Beach. First, there was the most beautiful scenery I had ever seen on the way to the beach. The island was green and not overdeveloped like most islands. Once you get to the beach you are greeted by a lovely staff, there is also a great bar and restaurant with very good food. We can see Nevis Island while we wander around the beach. Like any small island you'll see some vendors selling stuff, but they also have a gentleman with a monkey and you can take a photo with it, for sure, for a fee. The beach is very quiet and relaxing, however, at the other end of the beach you will find jet skies and paddle boards. Wonderful discovery: this beautiful beach has black sand, the beach is clean and clear, chairs $5, umbrellas $10, and drinks and food. There are some black sand stripes on the volcano and the view is great. There are many locals on the beach on weekends and they are all friendly.
