Saint Gall Monastery Review

It takes only three hours to drive from the northernmost point of Switzerland to the southeast corner, along the shore of Boden Hunan, then turn south, passing St. Gallen, Liechtenstein, Kuril, and St. Moritz. The Cathedral of St Gallen, the world heritage site, is one of the most temperamental churches I think on several trips to Europe, none of them.

The towering St Gallen monastery is arranged in horseshoe shape with two 68-meter towers at the main entrance. It is especially majestic. It is a landmark of this small city in Switzerland. Its Renaissance-style religious complex and its baroque-style cathedral have been listed as the world's cultural heritage.

Although St. Gallen is far from the corner of Switzerland, tourists are not as concentrated as Lucerne and Interlaken, but St. Gallen Abbey as a world cultural heritage is not lost to those attractions, the beautiful murals are super shocking, highly recommended

Leaving Liechtenstein, passing by St. Gallen in Switzerland, home to the United Nations cultural heritage "St. Gallen Monastery", the monastery is magnificent and unique, a typical Baroque architecture, built from the sixth century AD. Most importantly, the monastery began collecting books in the ninth century, and over a thousand years later, making it the most important library in Europe.

St. Gallen's Monastery, located in the center of St. Gallen, a German-speaking city in northern Switzerland. It is recorded that the monastery was built in the 8th century on the basis of the monastery established by the Irish monastery Galles in 612 and integrated with the monastery library, and is an academic shrine in medieval Europe. Although no longer used as a monastery, it is listed as a World Heritage Site due to the Baroque style of the cathedral and the monastery library. St Gallen is not big, although there is public transportation, it is best to walk to the monastery.

St. Gallen Abbey looks really ordinary from the outside, belongs to a gothic building, but after entering, I found that the inside is really special flavor, the inside is really good, many ancient books here, there are many priceless manuscripts inside, it is worth visiting.
