City Hall Square is the traffic network center of Copenhagen. It has a starting point of 0 kilometers. It means that all distances from Copenhagen are measured from here. City Hall Square is also Copenhagen's oldest commercial market, with a history of 800 years. Many of Denmark's major events are held in City Hall Square. In May 1945, 100,000 people gathered here to celebrate Denmark's liberation from German occupation. In the summer of 1992, when the Danish national football team won the European championship, there were 100,000 people here to celebrate. On the day we arrived, there were also many young people dancing "square dance" here, and it was not clear what activities were. Anyway, it's a very popular square.
