Cungengtang is an ancient large-scale building with Hakka traditional characteristics. It was built in the year 1716-1781 (late Qianlong Qing Dynasty), with a total area of 1.3 more than 10,000 square meters. It is the largest existing residential house in Zhongdu Town and is well-maintained. It is known as "Nine Halls and Eighteen Wells" and is famous.
