Dom Tower Review

The Domkerk, the Netherlands, has a 112-meter-high tower, the Gothic church that was once the largest in the Netherlands, but the nave of the church collapsed in a storm in 1674 and has not been rebuilt, separating the tower from the eastern end. The tower is now a symbol of the city.

The cathedral tower in Utrecht is the tallest church tower in the Netherlands, and is a part of St. Martin's Cathedral, built between 1321 and 1382. The cathedral was never fully completed due to lack of funds. The cathedral tower has been a separate tower since the unfinished nave collapsed in 1674.

The cathedral tower should be a landmark in the center of the old city, just walk in the direction of the central railway station. Unfortunately, when the improvement project was underway, the building was tightly wrapped and nothing could be seen, only waiting for the next time.
