It was officially opened to the public in 2006. It is the branch of the Hong Kong Museum of History. It introduces the life of Sun Yat-sen, the father of China, and his relationship with Hong Kong. Architectural style is very classical. The front of the middle two floors is curved. It is divided into four floors. Each floor has a lecture hall and a video room.
