Official home of the Swedish Royal family since 1991, this beautiful, Versaille-inspired palace is part of the Drottningholm Royal domain, which is one of Sweden's 14 World Heritage sites. The domain includes, among other things, an exceptionally well preserved Chinese pavillion, a unique theatre, and a good cafe/restaurant. There are boat trips to the estate, and regular special events; altogether, a great visit.
