Du Hang Pagoda Review

Henan Hang Temple is the oldest Pagoda in coastal defense. It is less than one kilometer from the city center. It seems to be a large courtyard, which can be traced back to a thousand years ago. It's better to hire a tour guide because you'll get information about different pagodas and Buddhism, and monks are very friendly.

This temple has a long history. The Buddha statues inside are beautiful and fragrant. After going there, I bought incense to worship Bodhisattva. This Temple feels like a combination of traditional Chinese temples and Vietnamese temples. It is worth visiting.

Du Hang pagoda was built over a thousand years ago & could be considered the oldest Temple in the whole of Haiphong.Historical wise the temple was the scene of patriotic fervour against colonial rule during the 1920s.

One of the few things to do and see in Hai Phong. The trek passes through a busy road with markets and stalls nearby.The temple is impressive and well looked after with lots of activity, however unless you are interested in temples you won't need much time to spend here.

A small temple, very traditional Vietnamese characteristics, mainly with the domestic temple has a big difference, access to the hall is required to take off their shoes to enter.
