National Opera & Ballet Review

The Music Theatre is a very famous theater in Amsterdam. The architecture is very beautiful and exquisite, with a long history. There are often many famous classic repertoires here. If you like to see live performances, you can come and see it.

[View] Tchaikovsky Swan Lake wonderful performance: Grand Theatre, Grand Theatre: large, modern, comfortable, located on the canal side is great. The theater is full at night. Very appreciative audience. Finally, a standing ovation. Produced: strong cast, beautiful scenes, moving dances, gorgeous costumes. We loved it. A very high-end, traditional and charming performance from a world-class dance troupe. A superb orchestra. If we go to Amsterdam again, we would think of buying another ticket for an opera or ballet here. We booked the show a year in advance. We rarely went to the ballet but everything we experienced that night was fantastic. This evening was one of the three cultural highlights of our short trip to Amsterdam, the other two were the Dutch National Museum and Van Gogh Museum. The city is renowned for its culture, scenery, waterscapes and architecture. We were impressed!
