Binhai Art Center is adjacent to Binhai Bay. There are concert halls, theatres, concert halls and rehearsal rooms, as well as outdoor performance space. It looks fashionable outside. It is not difficult to see from the billboards that most of the programs are based on Chinese culture. So we can see from here that the most basic of Singapore culture is our Greater Chinese culture. In addition, there are shopping malls, international restaurants and Singapore's first art library, the Binhai Art Center Library, which has a large collection of books and multimedia materials on music, dance, film and drama.

The Marina Arts Centre is Singapore's premier performing arts venue, located in the heart of Singapore's downtown area, at the mouth of the Singapore River, adjacent to Marina Bay. Its main design is DP Architects, and its architect team takes the insect's compound eye as inspiration, creating its unique appearance, and because of the flat view of the building, the main body of the art center is like two durians, so it is also known as "Durian Art Center". The Marina Arts Centre was officially inaugurated in October 2002 and has become a landmark in Singapore.

The esplanade is always a beautiful place to visit, both the surrounding area and the interior has much to see! Also pro tip: to always be on the look out for free events and shows happening! From time to time there will be small performances put out for the public to enjoy, from kid shows to musical performances. If you're not a fan of the arts, there are a also lots of stores and restaurants to explore too! I personally recommend the Malayan council which serves fusion malay food.

One of the iconic buildings of Singapore, the Esplanade. Durian shape like building and if you are a fan of art and performance, this place is not a stranger to you.

I was lucky to catch one of their night shows while walking from merlion park. They showcased several opera singers who gave their rendition of famous classical pieces. The show was free and everybody was welcome. Overlooking the marina bay sands and singapore skyline. Don't miss this!
