The International Football Federation, referred to as FIFA, was founded on 21 May 1904 in Paris, France, France, Denmark, Spain, Sweden, the Netherlands and Switzerland. The association has 209 members and is a member of the International Federation of Single Sports Federations. The working language is English, French, Spanish and German, and English is the standard when the language is conflicted. The headquarters in Switzerland is designed and modernized by FIFA.
