Peng Xu's former residence is located in the Haicheng Bridge Dongshe, east of Longjin River, Haifeng County, Shanwei City. It sits north to south and faces the Longjin River. It was built in the end of Qing Dynasty. The main building has two floors, three rooms with a width of 12.9 meters, and a depth of 10.9 meters. The front porch is imitated with Western-style buildings, wind and fire gables, with a total construction area of 266 square meters, and a hall house in the middle of the downstairs. On the first floor, there is a profile of the martyrs of the Yuan family who joined the revolution, and a photo of the old man Zhou Feng when he was received by Chairman Mao. There is a fun study room next to the former residence, which is a place to study during the youth of Yuan.
