Former Residence of Zhang Wentian in Shanghai Review

Zhang Wentian's former residence is located in Zhangjiazhai, Dengsan Village, Shiwan Community, Chuansha New Town, Pudong New District, Shanghai, covering an area of 686 square meters and a construction area of 495 square meters. It is a special museum of social sciences.

Zhang Wentian's former residence, which was built in 1892, is an ordinary house with two-compartment brick and wood structure with the characteristics of rural areas in the south of the Yangtze River. It sits in the north and faces the south. There are five main rooms, two main rooms on each side, and four other rooms on the outside of the West compartment, totaling 13. In the middle is a brick patio with a wooden doorway in front. There are vegetable gardens, green trees, bamboo trees, River ditches, bamboo fences and other around, a school of idyllic scenery. At present, Zhang Wentian's former residence, including Zhang Wentian's life exhibition hall, covers a total area of 7799 square meters (4320 square meters for former residence and 3479 square meters for exhibition hall) and 2328 square meters for construction (936 square meters for former residence and 1392 square meters for exhibition hall). Zhang Wentian's former residence is located in Zhangjiazhai, Deng Sancun, Shiwan Township, Zhuqiao Town, Pudong New Area. Zhang Wentian was born here on August 30, 1900. There is a wooden pavilion in front of the former residence, commonly known as "Xiucai Pavilion", which has been demolished. When Zhang Wentian was young, he lived with his parents in the north bedroom of the living room. On the West side, he had a study. He went to Nanjing to study until he was 17 years old and left home for many times. Zhang Wentian's former residence was approved by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government as a municipal cultural relics protection unit on September 19, 1985. In September 1986, Chen Yun wrote a plaque for his former residence "Comrade Zhang Wentian's former residence". The former residence is seriously damaged due to its disrepair and low-lying terrain. In February 1989, the Municipal Civil and Cultural Administration Commission allocated funds for the comprehensive renovation of Zhang Wentian's former residence. By lifting the whole roof truss, the foundation was filled 50 centimeters high, the former residence was restored, the bedroom, study, living room and kitchen were restored to their original state. Many furniture were still old things of the year. The original appearance of the former residence was completely maintained, fences and fences were built, necessary passages were built, and "Zhang Wentian's life story exhibition" was opened. On June 25, 2002, after the former residence was approved by the State Council as a national key cultural relics protection unit, a two-storey exhibition hall was built on its west side, which moved Zhang Wentian's life story exhibition and archives management from his former residence to the exhibition hall. The exhibition hall of Zhang Wentian's life was officially opened in August 2010. More than 300 historical photographs and more than 160 objects were displayed in the museum. The exhibition is divided into ten parts, which comprehensively shows Zhang Wentian's glorious life of pursuing the truth of saving the nation and the people and making great contributions in various historical periods of the Party. Zhang Wentian's former residence was opened in 1990 and officially opened to the outside world in October 1992. It has become a rare humanistic landscape in Pudong. Shanghai Youth Education Base is located at No. 50 Wenju Road, Airport Town, Pudong New Area. After visiting Zhang Wentian's former residence, I felt a little heavy. Most of the visits to the former residence are activities organized by Party members. As non-Party ordinary people, we came to visit spontaneously, just to know more about the real history. Compared with Chen Yun Memorial Hall, Zhang Wentian's former residence is incomparable in terms of size and area. If it is not in one grade, there will be no more comments on the others.

The south of Sichuan road in front of the door has been widened, and the former residence is very bright. There are many people visiting on weekends!

I used to know that Zhang Wentian was a famous red professor in the party, and he once resigned three times. Later, the founding of the country went to the Soviet Union to be an ambassador.
