we need not travel far frommanila have an adventure. Located in the heart of Old Manila, Intramuros Manila (“within the walls” when translated literally from Spanish) is one of the Philippines’ biggest cultural and historical landmarks.The Walled City and its famous citadel Fort Santiago were the seat of government during the Spanish colonial period. Now, it is still very much a living, breathing city with universities, government offices, banks, hotels, and restaurants—and it is well worth the visit. The best part is you can enjoy most parts of Intramuros Manila without breaking the bank!

it is a good place to know about history of philippines. place is speaks more about itself. you can imaging yourself in that aura. specially i like to live in history so much that's why i loved this place

fort santiago is the actual prison cell where our National Hero Dr. Jose Rizal was imprisoned before his execution. Being there will remind you of how nationalism lives in the heart of our historical heroes

A lot of history here including World War 2 and the trial and execution of Rezil. He is revered in this country. There is a nice Rezil museum inside. There are good views of the river from the fortress walls.
