Bernini masterpiece celebrating Pope Urban VIII's delivery of water to the area in 1643. Surrounding by traffic, unlike many of the other famouse fountains in Rome, this fountain sat right outside of the Barberini Palazzo in the Barberini Piazza and with the bees and Papal keys included in the statute was a constant reminder of the Barberini Pope's power.
