The former site of the French Minister of Guangzhou Bay is opposite the seaside park on Guanhai Road. Built in 1903, the French design, two floors, the top floor is a viewing platform, there is a basement, the building is beige facade. Originally used by the French, after Japan occupied Zhanjiang in 1943, the Japanese military department was set up here and the victory of the Anti-Japanese War was recovered. Now it is a key cultural relics protection unit in the country. The second floor is the exhibition room, which introduces the history of Zhanjiang area in a comprehensive way. There are various cultural relics, reflecting the social state of the French and Japanese era, as well as some local folk customs. Now free to visit, it is a patriotic education base.
