Paris North Station (French: Gare de Paris-Nord) is one of the seven departure stations of the French National Railway (SNCF) in Paris. It is located in the tenth district of the northern part of Paris. It contains a variety of rail transportation services and urban rail transit services, such as the Paris Metro, Regional Train (RER), Transilien Railway, Inter-provincial trains (TER), TGV and Eurostar. In terms of passenger numbers, Paris North is currently the busiest railway station in Europe, the 24th busiest railway station in the world, and the busiest railway station in the world except for Japan.
