Dawn Gate is the only old city gate of Vilnius, located in the south of the old city. It has a history of nearly 500 years. The Church of the Virgin Mary above the Dawn Gate is small and famous as the Black-faced Virgin Mary. This is the church where Pope Paul II once visited. Every morning and evening, many devout Catholics come to church to pray and participate in Mass.

Locals are full of respect for the dawn gate. When taking pictures, they saw an old grandmother take off her hat and salute before passing through the gate. It is a quite sacred symbol.

The Dawn Gate is located at the southernmost end of the old city of Vilnius, one of the nine gates at that time, and the only remaining gates there is a chapel of the Virgin Mary. The structure is similar to the previous street building in our magic capital. The space is very small. There is one inside. The black and gold statue of the Virgin Mary, one of the most sacred statues of Polish Catholicism, passed through this gate, under the walls, and there were a lot of small vendors selling souvenirs.
