Gomantong Caves Review

Gomantong Cave is one of the interesting places in Sandakan. Gomantong Cave is located in Kinabatangan district, which is approximately 95 km from Sandakan City Center, Sabah. Gomantong Cave is one of the limestone caves that is quite popular in Malaysia and also for tourists from abroad who come to travel to Sabah. This is because in the cave there are approximately 17 - 19 small caves that are home to millions of swallows. The swallow's nest produced in this cave is one of the highest quality and best in the world.

The Gomandong Cave is located in the rainforest reserve of Gomandong Mountain in Sabah State. It is staggered and empty, but for the convenience of tourists, a board road about 90 meters high has been built in the cave to facilitate the collection of bird's nests and tours. Specialist bird nest collection can be viewed from February to August every year. No entertainment, pure viewing.

Introduction of Gormandong Cave: GomantongCaves, located in the heart of Gormandong Rainforest Reserve, is staggered by two caves and is called the world's top edible bird's nest distribution center by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). About 90 meters high boardwalks have been built in the caves, and professional bird nest collectors can be seen picking bird nests from February to August every year.
