Gotaplatsen Review

Gothenburg is a famous port city on the southwestern coast of Sweden. Located on the banks of the Yota Canal in the Katgat Strait, across the sea from the northern tip of Denmark. We take a boat to Denmark from here to see, Gothenburg is a beautiful city.

Gota Square is a very important building and an interesting place in Gothenburg city. The square is not very large, but you can see some Swedish specialty cafes and small hotels, which are all characteristic areas that can be slowly appreciated.

Gota Square is the cultural center of Gothenburg. The square and surrounding buildings were built for the Expo in 1923. There are art museums (Konstmuseet), concert halls (Konserthuset,, and the theater (Stadsteatern).

At the end of the avenue is the Art Center of Gothenburg, which is a must for tourists. Looking over the Gotha Square, you can see the statue of Poseidon, the Greek mythological sea god standing in the middle of the square. The Sea God holds fish in his left hand and shells in his right hand. It is a symbol of the power of the Gothenburg Sea Age.
