The church was built around 1100 years ago. Its architectural style is famous for its Roman twin towers, which are the landmarks of Zurich. The Church across the river from Notre Dame Cathedral played a pivotal role in the 16th century Swiss religious reform, where the Theological Seminary and the Museum of Religious Reform of the University of Zurich were established. The painted glass in the church is the masterpiece of Swiss modern artist Giacometti. We only went to the bridge over the river and did not cross the river to visit the church. The two towers of the church are highly recognizable and the bells of the church are pleasant.
