Guangzhou Chenghuang Temple is located on Zhongyou Street, Zhongshan Road. It was originally a temple dedicated to guarding the city pool. The city god is one of the important gods that are widely respected in ancient religious culture. It is the god of protecting the people and the master of the sham. The city temple is the main city, and there are also civil and martial judges, 24 divisions. The Hell Division of the 24th Division deters people. Guangzhou Chenghuang Temple was built in the Ming Dynasty and was a landmark building in Guangzhou during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, comparable to Beijing's Chenghuang Temple. The Chenghuang Temple is tattered and can be said to be reborn in glory. In the 12-meter-high Chenghuang Temple Hall, four two-meter-high eight-scent mahogany palace lights hang high. The three-zun city grandpas with real gold and gold plaque have returned to the throne, but they are covered with red cloth, and the true face of the mountain can be seen later. The walls on both sides of the hall are inlaid with large-scale murals "opening the heavens and the earth fairy", which was made by 30 or 40 painters for half a year, and the height is more than eight meters, which may be the largest mural in the province.
