This is a drum tower built in 821 during the Tang Dyansty. In 1855, during the Qing Dynasty, the structure was remodeled to include a clock tower. both the clock and bells work and chime regulary. The gate under the tower leads to a predestrian walking area with shops and restaurants. beyobd that, there is a nice park with a few historical structures to explore . The tower is free but you can only explore the lower floor. There is a small but free art exhibit on the lower floor . If you walk outside on the wall, you can get a couple pretty good views of the area.
