But it’s worth it... Love this place... You can see the rice fields when you go down the mountain... When you come here in Ubud, A bit disappointed. Over 200 stairs, which is a bit exhausting, especially in Bali it is hot! Stone carving and beautiful surroundings are delightful, however we look forward to exploring the temple. Finally, it lasted about 10 minutes before the exhausting trek back to Ubud.

The Shengquan Temple is here in Kawei Mountain. It is recommended to rent a motorcycle to go. It is quite convenient. The scenery of Kawei Mountain is very good. There are mountains, water and buildings to see. If you are tired of the sea view, you can come and visit.

Mount Kawi is an ancient imperial mausoleum, built in the 11th century AD. It is a world cultural heritage of Bali. If time is enough, it is worth visiting. The chartered train returned from the Beijing-Damani volcano and came in time. It is very close to Shengquan Temple and can be visited together. The mausoleum is situated in a canyon in Tampasilin, north of Ubud. From the entrance to the tomb, you should go down the stone steps path. Along the way, you can also see the tropical terraced fields of Ubud. Walking down the canyon, you can see the rocks on both sides as if they had been cut, leaving a passage. Walking through the corridor and down to the bottom of the valley, a group of ruins appeared not far away. The main part of this relic is nine giant shrines cut along the cliffs of the mountain, each about 7 meters high, with the middle of the Paulisan River as the boundary, symmetrically distributed on both sides. The site was built in memory of Anak Wungsu, king of the Udayana Dynasty in Bali, and his concubines. Feel the geomancy here is still very good, quiet and concealed, rocky cliffs, springs turbulent, there is also a Hindu temple to visit. Generally speaking, there are not many people here. Kawei Mountain is the mausoleum of King Anak Wungsu and his family. It was built in the 11th century and is also called the Old Holy Spring Temple. It is a considerable temple group. The whole is built on the mountain. Basically, the temples and sculptures are chiselled from the rocks. Compared with other temples, there are not many tourists here. Maybe the steps here scared them away.
