Gunung Raya Review

Interresting hiking or motorbiking up to the top. There are viewpoints facing the isles surrounding langkawi. For hiking, beware of leeches which are common to find in the wood. Free entrance.

We drove there hoping for a spectacular view. The top of the hotel is closed so you can only go to an observation deck near the top where there is no 360 degree view. Had wanted to go out looking for more but was hit by a huge storm. If you choose to hike to Mount Raja, you will face the challenge of climbing 4200 steps. This is a wonderful hike, you will appreciate the beauty of the jungle, listen to the sounds of nature, although there are many steps to climb. Before climbing, be prepared and bring plenty of water as there is nothing but steps. The cafe at the top of the mountain was closed as we climbed, so we couldn’t comment on it.

The winding mountain road opened for a long time to reach the top of the mountain, originally wanted to overlook the panoramic view of Langkawi in the mountain, but to the top of the mountain found that the whole Langkawi could not be seen at all, only the cloud and fog around the mountain.

This 881 meter high mountain is also quite rich in interesting flora and fauna to explore. Among the wildlife found here are monkeys

A very good viewpoint to enjoy sunset and sunrise. Go there around 7pm as the sun goes down quite late at langkawi. you can also enjoy the sunset on your way getting down from the hill. Everything was covered in gold and no noise at all which really brings you away from the city. PS it's kind of foggy and cold on the top. Be sure to check out if you enjoy nature very much.

Mount Raya does not often appear in the travels of Chinese people. We can see it in the Lankawi scenic spots. This is the highest point of Lankawi. It can overlook the whole Lankawi Island. When we went there, we were a little ready to rain. We felt like we could touch the clouds. I believe that when the weather was good, it was another kind of scenery. The road up the hill is a two-way one-way street with lots of moss. Remember that the speed can't be too fast! __________
