Gyeongbokgung Palace Review

Visiting Gyeongbokgung Palace was a mesmerizing journey through Korea's rich history and culture. The grandeur of its architecture, the serene beauty of its gardens, and the immersive experience of witnessing the Changing of the Guard ceremony made it an unforgettable adventure. Stepping through its ancient gates felt like stepping back in time, as I wandered through the halls and courtyards, imagining the lives of the royal family who once called this place home.

The exterior and interior is so pleasantly beautiful, the traditional building is the main attraction hence the palace is the must-go when you are in korea

If its a nice day (it's all outside) and you have a half day available, this is great place to visit for some culture. Its a surprising large complex so make sure you have comfy shoes on! If you want there are traditional clothes rentals in various places before you enter so you can dress for the occasion! The guard changing show is in the morning I think it starts just be 10.00(don't hold me to this time!) And is worth a watch.

worth visiting and we paid for the Hanbok and we looked good. weather was cold and the hanbok was thick enough to withstand the cold.

This palace is beautiful and grand. Certain areas are stunning. But it's a VERY big space so be prepared to walk a bit. Some parts were very wide and open.
