Wilhelmina von Hallwyl was the owner of Sweden's largest timber company at the time, the daughter of the count, and was a keen sponsor of the art business. In 1893 she hired architect Isak Gustaf Clason to build a house in Hamngatan, Stockholm, to display the artwork she had collected, and in 1920 she presented the building to the Stockholm city government, and established the current Hallwyl Museum. The museum is mainly focused on the collection of items she has collected from around the world, and the most recent exhibition is “The Art of the Folded Flowers.”
