The Henderson Waves bridge is part of the Southern Ridges trail that is 9km long. As Singapore's weather is humid, it may be a little hard going to go all the way with kids. So you can focus on either end of the trail. The Henderson Waves side is close to Mt Faber, which offers great views of the island. Alternatively, you can start from the other end and walk on the canopy trail and hill top walk, walking amongst the tropical secondary forest foliage and spotting birds along the way. The latter trail is also close to Gilman village, which has some nice art galleries and restaurants.

The signature part of the Southern Ridges. there are a lot of birdwatchers camping here to take pictures of bird species. The wave-like structure is interesting and functional with benches and shelters.

It is a pedestrian bridge that is designed to look like a wave, and it stands at 36 meters high, making it one of the highest pedestrian bridges in Singapore. You can take a leisurely walk or jog, picnic, watch a sunset or explore the Southern Ridges.

Great view at Henderson Waves. This is one of the spots to do trekking or just regular workout. It’s very accessible and connected to Mount Faber.
