The dam is far from the Gold Coast and is a great place for serious tourists looking to see man-made buildings. Very comfortable parking facilities, you can visit the dam museum after a walk on the dam bridge.

4/5ExcellentOriginal TextConsidering I live in Brisbane CBD, driving to the dam soon. Beautiful day, coffee in the cafe. To be honest a bit expensive. Small cup of coffee for $5. Fried fish and chips, chicken burgers for $ 19.50 each. It was a pleasure to take a leisurely walk on the dam. Funny reading along the way. Encouraged to go to the dam just for a leisurely walk and soak up some sunshine. Or pack a picnic basket. Sit rice from the edge of the water.
