The racecourse is located in the Cathedral of Saint Sophia, the attraction itself is very general, but more historical. It was once a Roman arena for horse racing and chariot races. During the reign of Justinian the Great, a chariot race triggered an uprising to overthrow Justinian rule and establish a new emperor. The army of the famous general Belissalie killed 30,000 people before suppressing the uprising. Justinian thus claimed to be the god of kingship, and then rebuilt the Cathedral of Santa Sophia here. The racetrack is now nothing to see except the snake pillar and obelisk. It is a punch-in attraction.
